All TactiCoach user data is stored on servers located in India. We implement the following security measures:

• Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms (bcrypt)
• Payment card data is never stored on our servers — handled entirely by our payment processor
• Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
• Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel only
• Automated backups with point-in-time recovery

Despite our best efforts, no system is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and relevant authorities within 72 hours as required by applicable law.

7 Data Retention

• Active accounts: Data is retained for as long as your account is active
• After account deletion: Personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days
• Payment records: Retained for 7 years to comply with Indian tax law
• Anonymised analytics: May be retained indefinitely as they cannot identify you
• Backups: May persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days after deletion

9 DPDP Act, 2023 (India)

TactiCoach complies with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023. Under this Act:

• We collect and process personal data only for lawful purposes with your consent or on legitimate grounds
• You have the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data
• You have the right to nominate another individual to exercise your rights on your behalf
• We maintain a Consent Manager as required under the Act
• We will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected users in the event of a significant data breach
• Grievance redressal: You may raise a complaint with us first, and if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India

10 GDPR (European Union Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

• We only transfer your data outside the EEA with appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses)

11 Cookies & Tracking

TactiCoach uses the following types of cookies:

• Essential cookies: Required for the platform to function (login sessions, security tokens). Cannot be disabled.
• Analytics cookies: Help us understand how coaches use the platform (anonymised). You can opt out.
• Preference cookies: Remember your settings such as language and pitch type. You can clear these.

We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings or via the cookie banner shown on your first visit.

12 Minors

TactiCoach is designed for football coaches and sports professionals. While we do not impose a minimum age restriction, users under the age of 18 should use the platform with the knowledge and supervision of a parent or guardian.

If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a minor without appropriate parental consent, we will delete that data promptly. Please contact us at tacticoach.co.uk@gmail.com if you believe this has occurred.

13 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Send an email notification to your registered email address
• Display a banner on the platform for 30 days after the change
